Hopes on Recovery: Reduced Urban Unemployment Rate!

 Rural unemployment fell to 9.8 percent in the July-September quarter last year as corona virus cases dropped significantly and the Kovid-19 regulation was relaxed nationwide. In the previous quarter, rural unemployment stood at 12.6 percent.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation on Wednesday, 1,71,405 people were surveyed in 5676 urban blocks. According to the Ministry’s Periodic Labor Force Survey (PLFS), rural unemployment rose to 9.3 percent in January – March last year.

These figures reveal that the Kovid Second Wave has subsequently registered the expected decline in the unemployment rate. Despite the decline in the rural unemployment rate in the third quarter of 2021, mammography remains high compared to previous levels. The female unemployment rate also fell sharply after the Kovid Second Wave.
