March 18: Hyderabadi pharma company MSN Group launches an oral drug to treat Covid-19. MSN said on Friday that it had entered into a licensing agreement with an international company to manufacture and distribute the generic version of the Pfizer coronavirus drug packs. MSVN explained that the antiviral pill, which is a combination of Nirmatrelvir and Ritonavir tablets, has been approved as an oral drug for the treatment of cholera in the United States and many other countries, and will be released in our country under the Paxavid brand name as approved by the DCGI. Available on prescription, the Paxavid Combination Pack includes two 150mg Nirmatrelvir tablets and a 100mg Ritonavir tablet. The price of this pack will be announced next. The company says it will produce these at its state-of-the-art USFDA, European Union-approved plant.
